What the official source establishes

DDA's building-approval page identifies the Unified Building Bye-Laws for Delhi 2016 and lists subsequent amendments. Read the underlying notifications, not just a summary or social-media post. The page's last-updated date is not evidence that a new rule took effect on that date.

What to check for a particular site

• The authority and planning controls applicable to the plot.
• The notification number, affected clause and effective date of a claimed change.
• Whether the proposal is a draft, an enacted change or guidance.
• Any project-specific approvals or conditions that still apply.
